Continued From Left Column.

Spot ahead of Guatemala based on goal differential. After opening with a win at home againt Guatemala and a stumble in Antigua with a 0-0 draw, Jamaica responded at home with one of the biggest wins in the country’s history when they took advantage of two free kick opportunities to defeat the United States for the first time ever. They lost the away leg to the U.S. in Columbus.

Against The United States

The win against the USA was the country’s first in 19 tries, and also continued an unbeaten run at The Office which now stands at 1-0-4 in World Cup qualifying. The USA has been equally stodgy at home, holding a 9-0-3 overall and 3-0-2 in World Cup qualifying.
