Jamaica earned the other spot in the final six-team round robin next year from Group A, which included the U.S. Mexico went 6-0 to win Group B, with El Salvador and Guyana not advancing from that group. Costa Rica finished second in Group B Honduras finished first in Group C after blitzing Canada 8-1, with Panama earning second place in the group with a 1-1 draw against Cuba.
At stake in the CONCACAF Hexagonal are berths in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil to the top three finishers. The fourth-place team can earn a berth by winning a two-game play-in series against the #1 team from Oceania.
