Loudoun County
Gets NASL Franchise.
A new NASL will call Northern Virginia home in 2014. The team will play home games at a new stadium in Ashburn, VA.
VIP Sports & Entertainment is partnering with Loudoun Professional Soccer, LLC (LPS), which was awarded the franchise.
The Loudoun County-based team will become the NASL’s 11th team. Fans are encouraged to submit names for the team team at NASLvirginia.com.
Former DC United GK and coach Mark Simpson will be the club’s Director of Soccer Operations.
