Rule 104.3.4.
Based on the decision and the direction from the Affiliates at the recent AGM, FYSA has cautioned its members as to possible violations of Rule 104.3.4.
Some FYSA teams register with one affiliate, but then train and practice on the fields of another affiliate. This may be done with the permission of the hosting affiliate. It is FYSA’s opinion that the act of one affiliate granting permission may not prevent another affiliate using 104.3.4 as a challenge to
the registering affiliate.
For example, you have affiliate A who has registered its home fields with FYSA. A team registers its players with Affiliate A, but for whatever reason makes arrangements with Affiliate B to utilize its
designated home fields for practice and games.
This facility is more than 15 miles from Affiliate A and thus may be violation of 104.3.4, even though another affiliate grants its permission.
All affiliates must be aware of where all of their teams are conducting practices, training and games and ensure that the facility is within the 15-mile limit.
