The U.S. Women’s National Team got 2013 off to a good start with a pair of international friendly victories over Scotland. The first was a 4-1 win in Jacksonville, FL, followed by a 3-1 win in Nashville, TN.
The games were the first under the direction of new WNT coach Tom Sermanni, who incidentally is a native of Scotland.
Christen Press debuted in the first game and scored a pair of goals, Abby Wambach earned her 200th cap in Nashville.
