2013 MLS Cup
The 2013 MLS Cup champion- ship game is scheduled for Decem- ber 7 with kickoff set for 4:30 pm ET. The MLS Cup finalist with the best regular season record will host the championship game. The game will be televised live on ESPN.
ACC & SEC
The 2013 ACC women’s soccer tournament semifinals and champi- onship game will be held at WakeMed Soccer Park for the sev- enth straight year. (Nov. 8 & 10).
The ACC men’s tournament re- turns for the second year to the Maryland SoccerPlex in Germantown with semifinals and finals set for Nov. 15 & 17.
The SEC soccer championship returns to Orange Beach, Ala., No- vember, 4-10.
N.C. Soccer HOF
The 2014 North Carolina Soccer Hall of Fame induction dinner will be held Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the North Raleigh Hilton in Ra- leigh, NC.
The induction dinner, which is held during the annual Southern Soccer Show, has traditionally been held in Greensboro, N.C. N.C. Soc- cer has moved its youth and adult state soccer association AGMs to Raleigh for 2014.
Individual inductees are annunced on Page 19 of this issue. The public is invited to attend the dinner. Ticket information will be available on the NCSHOF website next month at www.ncsoccerhall offame.com.
Kiwi Double Dip
The U.S. WNT will host New Zealand in a pair of international
friendlies in October. The first is set for October 27 in San Francisco, Calif., and the second three days later, October 30 at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
Both games will be televised, but at the present time no details of those broadcasts have been an- nounced by U.S. Soccer.
The U.S. women will also play Brazil on Nov. 10 at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla.
SoCon Tourneys
Samford University will host the Southern Conference women’s championship, Nov. 2 & 4 in Bir- mingham, Ala. The men’s SoCon championship is set for WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, NC, Nov. 8 & 10.
USYS Workshop
Registration is underway for the 2014 US Youth Soccer Workshop, held in conjunction with the NSCAA convention, Jan. 15-19 at the Pennsylvania Convention Cen- ter in Philadelphia.
The US Youth Soccer Awards Gala will again be held during the workshop on Friday night, Jan. 17.

The Georgia Soccer Annual Gen- eral Meeting is set for Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Renais- sance Waverly Hotel in Atlanta. All Georgia Soccer affiliate mem- bers are required to have a repre- sentative in attendance at each busi- ness meeting.
