Here Come The Belgians!

March 15, 2013 by Ray Alley

The U.S. Men’s National Team will get a shot at another Top 20 team when Belgium comes to Cleveland, Ohio, on May 29. It marks the first time the U.S. has hosted Belgium.
Currently ranked #19 in the FIFA World Rankings, the Belgians are in first place in Group A of UEFA qualifying for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The Red Devils boast an array of talent plying their trade in top teams across Europe, including Everton MF Marouane Fellaini (club teammate of U.S. goalkeeper Tim Howard), Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany and Chelsea striker Eden Hazard.
The only time the U.S. has beaten Belgium was 3-0 in the first World Cup match ever played on July 13,1930.
