Kickers Still Unbeaten

June 23, 2013 by Ray Alley

The Richmond Kickers played 11 of their first 12 2013 USL PRO regular season games at home, and they go into the second half of the season unbeaten[show_disconnected][show_to accesslevel=’Subscriber’]. The only team in the league without a loss.
However, the Kickers are now looking at an month-long road swing, playing eight straight away games. They won’t return to City Stadium until July 28 for a home game with the VSI Tampa Bay.
The Kickers are 7-0-5 with 26 points going into Central Florida to begin the swing against top-ranked Orlando City. The Kickers have 26 points, good for third place in the league standings.
Despite having no losses, the Kickers trail once-beaten Orlando City by six points, and the second-place Harrisburg City Islanders by five points.
