Decatur, Ala, was host to 130 teams from 12 southern state associations who competed in the US Youth Soccer Region III Presidents Cup[show_disconnected][show_to accesslevel=’Subscriber’].
Winners are set to advance to the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup National finals, July 10-14, in Auburndale, FL.
Championships were captured in boys and girls Under-13 through Under-17 age divisions.
Florida was a big winner with one boys title and two for girls. The U14 boys went to the Westside Eagle, U13 girls was won by Bay United Sharks and the U14 girls was won by the Cape Coral Cyclones.
South Texas won the U13 boys (International), U16 girls (Albion Hurricanes), and Lady Lions Red in U17 girls. North Carolina also had three winners: U16 boys (Triad Elite SC), U17 boys (AC Sandhills Elite) and U15 Girls (Triad Elite SC)
