BATON ROUGE – Canada and New Zealand international Emma Fletcher is certainly a jewel of LSU Soccer’s heralded recruiting class for the 2013 season, and she added to her already impressive resume this summer while being named the British Columbia Provincial Youth Player of the Year for her performance in the 2012-13 season.
With her selection, Fletcher follows in the footsteps of such senior Canadian internationals as Christine Sinclair and Sophie Schmidt as a winner of British Columbia Soccer’s top youth award.
