USA vs. Mexico Venue

Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, has been selected for the September 10 CONCACAF Qualifying match against regional rival Mexico. The U.S. is 3-0-0 in qualifiers inside Crew Stadium, posting three consecutive shutouts against El Tri.
Kickoff is set for 8:00 p.m. ET and the game will be televised on ESPN. The U.S. MNT is 6-0-3 all-time in Crew Stadium, dating back to 2000.

MLS All-Star Game

The 2013 game will be played July 31 at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kansas, and will be televised live on ESPN2 and Univision. Kickoff is set for 9:00 pm ET.
AS Roma will be the international opponent for the MLS All-Stars. With Roma coming to the all-star game, it will mark the retur[show_disconnected][show_to accesslevel=’Subscriber’]n of former MLS and current U.S. MNT midfielder Michael Bradley, who played for the MetroStars (now Red Bulls) in 2004 and 2005 before being sold to Dutch club SC Heerenveen.

U.S. Men’s Friendly

The U.S. has scheduled a friendly on the road in Sarajevo against Bosnia-Herzegovina on Aug. 14. This will be the last game before resuming CONCACAF World Cup qualifying. This will be the first-ever meeting between the U.S. and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Florida Soccer AGM

The 2013 Florida Youth Soccer’s Annual General Meeting and Workshop will be held August 2-4 at the Omni Hotels & Resorts, Championsgate-Orlando. The Annual AGM awards will be presented during this weekend. Details are available online at www.fysa.com.

SCYSA Workshop

The 2013 South Carolina Youth Soccer Association President’s Workshop will be held on Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Doubletree by Hilton Columbia in Columbia, SC. Each member club/association is mandated to be respresented at this annual workshop.

NWSL On TV

FOX Sports began exclusive live coverage on July 14 of nine matches from the National Women’s Soccer League, featuring six regular-season contests and all three playoff games, which include the two semifinals on Saturday, Aug. 24 and the championship game on Saturday, Aug. 31.
FOX Soccer will televise one game per week over the final six weeks of the season with each club appearing at least once on national television leading up to the NWSL playoffs.

U.S. Women’s Friendly

The U.S. Women’s National team will return to action on September 3 at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. against Mexico. The game will be the first for the USA following the conclusion of the National Women’s Soccer League season, which will culminate with the championship game on Saturday, Aug. 31.
