VMI men’s head soccer coach Richie Rose has announced that Daniel Kitchen and Blake McCauley have been named team captains for the Keydets for the upcoming 2013 season.
A senior goalkeeper from Richmond, Kitchen saw nearly 1,000 minutes in goal in 2012, making 12 starts.
McCauley is a rising junior from Fuquey Varina, NC, who started 16 games as a sophomore.
The Keydets open at West Point on Aug. 30 against the United States Military Academy.
