Four have moved to clubs abroad — Daniel Barbir (Manchester City), Luca de la Torre (Fulham), Joshua Perez (Fiorentina) and Joe Gallardo (Mont-
errey) — and two are players one year younger (’99 age group) playing on MLS academy teams — Tyler Adams (New York Red Bulls) and Edwin Lara (San Jose Earthquakes). Williams’ squad will train four days in Spain before taking on Real Madrid Academy on Sept. 30. They will then play a game against an undetermined opponent on Oct. 2 before taking on Rayo Vallecano Academy on Oct. 4.
