Sydney Scores Four

With Alex Morgan on the sidelines with an injury, Sydney LaRoux got the start up top for the U.S. women against Mexico[show_disconnected][show_to accesslevel=’Subscriber’]. She made the most of the opportunity, scoring four straight goals after Abby Wambach had given the U.S. a 1-0 lead.in the 11th minute of play. LeRoux was making just her sixth start in her 39th game for the U.S. team. Her four goals upped her career total to 21. Wambach’s goal extended her all-time U.S. goal scoring mark to 161.
University of Virginia All-American Morgan Brian scored her first senior WNT goal.
