HATTIESBURG, Miss. – It has become old hat for the Golden Eagles for the seventh time this season, Southern Miss soccer went into extra sessions, this time playing Marshall to a 0-0 tie in double overtime.
It was among the better defensive showings for Southern Miss (6-4-4, 0-1-2 Conference USA) this season as the Golden Eagles forced Marshall (6-4-2, 1-2-1 Conference USA) to settle for disadvantageous shots throughout the match.
