The Chantilly Youth Assocition and four individuals have been named in a suite filed by Soccer Performance International[show_disconnected][show_to accesslevel=’Subscriber’].
The Northern Virginia-based company, which supplies coaches and trainers to a number of area youth soccer clubs, has alleged that they attempted to “destroy’ the company’s business and reputation.
The suit was biled in the Circuit Court in Fairfax County, Va. Soccer Perormance Interntional is seeking damages in excess of $1 million.
The club fired SPI a year ago, and club officials allegedly told CYA families at a meeting that the company had poor customer service, ineffective communication and called the company’s registration process “a nightmare.”
Individuals named in the suit were Chantilly Executive director Mark Abbott and Soccer Chairman Carlos Orantes, as well as coaches Oscar Feliu Pinol and Dylan Sutherland.
SPI says the youth club owes the company nearly $220,000.
