Jonathan Spector Injured

There was a time when Jonathan Spector was high on the list of top U.S. national team prospects. Not so much anymore[show_disconnected][show_to accesslevel=’Subscriber’].
After suffering a thigh injury in training, with his Birmingham City club, Spector is expected to miss considerable time. Spector, 27, has played in eight Championship matches for Birmingham City this season where he has played numerous positions ranging from right back to central midfield.
“(Jonathan Spector) is out for at least two months,” Birmingham Press officer Andy Walker said. “Not had full scan yet, expected to be between 2 and 3 months.” The Chicago native recently signed a two-year contract extension with Birmingham City.
