However, the Hurricanes have an 10-6-1 overall record after having to forfeit their first six regular season games after it was discovered that a player was ineligible to compete under junior college rules.
Since that ruling, Louisburg has won 10 of 11 times, including a 1-0 win over nationally ranked Spartanburg Methodist. The tie was 1-1 against Cape Fear Community College.
The Lady Hurricanes dropped to 15-3, 11-1 in Region X play with a 5-0 loss to Cape Fear, a team the Canes beat 2-1 earlier in the season. A 12-game winning streak was snapped by Monroe College, 1-0.
