Japp expects to draw his players from the local area, a number of whom played with the Dynamo after their collegiate careers. Japp, who played at UNC Greensboro, also is a former Carolina Dynamo midfielder.
The NPSL is a professional league, while the Dynamo play in the USL Premier Development League. Most of the Dynamo players are still playing in college.
