A pair of Academy club players and four players in N.C. university programs were among the 36 players invited by U.S. Under-20 MNT head coach Tab Ramos for a 10-day training camp in Lakewood Ranch, Fla[show_disconnected][show_to accesslevel=’Subscriber’]. The camp runs from Jan. 3-12.
This is the team’s second camp of the new cycle and first domestic camp.
Goalkeeper Jeff Caldwell (Todd, NC), who plays for the N.C. Fusion, and Fuquay Varina defender Conor Donovan, who plays for the Capital Area RailHawks Academy, were selected.
Wake Forest contributed a pair of Demon Deacons, MF Ian Harks (Fairfax, Va.) and Jacori Hayes (Bowie, Md.). North Carolina defender Jalen Markey (Renton, Wash.) was als included, as was forward Travis Wannemuehler (Evansville, Ind.) who plays at N.C. State, which is Ramos’ alma mater.
The roser includes 28 players with ties to the Development Academy, including 12 players currently registered to Academy teams.
