Briana Scurry, the U.S. WNT goalkeeper from 1994-2008, will be the featured speaker at the Awards Reception at the Virginia Youth Soccer Convention, Jan. 31-Feb. 1, in Richmond, VA.
Scurry, with 173 interntional career appearances, was in goal for the U.S. in the dramatic championship shootout over China in the 1999 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The convention will be held at the Greater Richmond Convention Center.
In addition to her appearance at the Awards Reception, Scurry will direct two coaching sessions on Saturday. Online information about the convention at www.vysa.com.
