The Silverbacks will not hire a head coach to replace the fired Brian Haynes, and will rely on Wynalda, and a select staff of assistant coaches, during the 2014 NASL season.
Wynalda, who will be responsible for organizing training sessions and all-team related decisions, will commute between his home in California and Atlanta, while maintaining his soccer analyst job with Fox Sports 1. He will personally manage all of the team’s games and key practices.
